Diane Ding Wan Ying

Ms. Diane Ding is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), a Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and an Associate Member of both Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). She is also an approved company auditor and licensed tax agent. Diane graduated with distinction in her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UK and brings over 30 years of extensive professional experience across public practice, Bursa Malaysia-listed companies, and SMEs.

Diane began her professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand before the merger), where she gained broad exposure in auditing a diverse portfolio of clients, including listed corporations, multinational companies, financial institutions, manufacturing businesses, trading and service companies, and SMEs. She later joined H L Hong & Co (an SME-focused accounting practice firm), further strengthening her expertise in audit and advisory services.

In addition to her public practice experience, Diane has held senior finance and leadership positions in several commercial organisations. Her corporate experience includes serving as Head of Finance in a Bursa Malaysia-listed construction company and as Assistant Vice President of Astro Radio Sdn Bhd. She has also accumulated valuable industry exposure in the advertising, food franchise, manufacturing, packaging, and printing sectors.

Diane is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and SMEs in achieving sustainable growth and long-term success. She specialises in audit, tax planning, and business advisory services, providing practical and strategic solutions tailored to business needs. Diane actively shared her expertise through GST seminars during the GST implementation period in 2014. Today, her primary focus is on guiding SMEs through regulatory transitions - specifically the implementation of e-invoicing and compliance with the expanded SST framework - while driving strategic business modernisation and enhancing long term financial sustainability.
